Read an eBook, listen to voice recordings, watch a video animation or play our games/answer quizzes. 

Two US-based African entrepreneur have created an innovative new app that introduces kids to the beauty and culture of African folktales.

Ugandan Brian Asingia and Kenyan Franco Abott of The Pearl Dream, Inc, have created  DreamAfrica, an app consisting of a large database of ebooks, video animation games and a whole lot more.

1904105_671348876234534_1784512182_nIn an interview with HumanIPO, Asingia explained, ‘We see The Pearl Dream brand and our DreamAfrica collection as a timeless idea that will be carried on and shared from generation to generation just as African folk tales and wisdom have been shared across legacies” . “Our growth story and success is the African story and we hope to work with African writers and artists to achieve this goal.’

The app is currently available to download on Android and Apple devices and costs $99 USD a years for North American and European users and $1USD for users elsewhere.

DreamAfrica, will be featured at this years NY TechDay 2014, the world’s largest startup event on April 24 at Pier 92 in New York City.
