A Return To Natural’ is the last of a series of four short documentaries commission by British Department store chain Selfridges & Co, as part of their current ongoing initiative ‘The Beauty Project’.
‘A Return to Natural’ was created by Kathryn Ferguson and ‘explores the stylistic comeback of natural afro hair through the personal stories of writer and curator Hannah Pool, shoe designer Marc Hare, musician Adio Marchant (Bipolar Sunshine), theatre director Monique Sterling, and writer / commentator Emma Dabiri.‘
For the month of May and the next few days in June, Selfridges have been running ‘The Beauty Project’ campaign which is described as a six-week programme of pioneering talks, interactive debates and immersive beauty experience.
