‘Ebola Man’ is an eight page info comic that uses detailed cartoon illustrations to bring awareness to the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). The comic was produced by graphic designer Collyde Prime for Nigerian-based digital and urban art magazine Awon Da.
Awon Da state, ‘To us in Nigeria, Ebola was far-fetched..until patrick sawyer waltzed into our territory. We’ve had the lowest rate of loss in the West African coast. but we still have to be careful as our neighbours have been seriously affected.
Awon Da as an initiative of being social responsible has brought to you highlights and information about this plague using an eight page info-comic and our signature style of humour and sarcasm.
