Blitz the Ambassador is known for bridging the gap between African popular sounds and American Soul. Recently he unveiled the release of his forthcoming EP Diasporadical and the debut of his new short film Juju Girl, both of which are due to drop in April. The film is set in 1960’s Ghana, the decade that saw Kwame Nkrumah appointed as the country’s first elected president. It was also a time when Dance highlife ruled the airwaves.
This is not the first time that Blitz has work on a film project. In 2008, he worked on the soundtrack for award winning PBS short, The Bronx Princess.
