PHOTOGRAPHY: ‘No Man’s Job’ by Anthony Kurtz, A Photo Series about Dakar’s Female Auto Mechanics

Berlin-based photography Anthony Kurtz’s portrait series ‘No Mans Job’, documents the day to day life of female auto mechanics in the Senegalese capital of Dakar.

While volunteering in Senegal, Kurtz’s came a cross a TV clip about a female owned mechanic shop in Dakar which later inspired him to create a series of photographs which featured women doing jobs that would traditionally be classed as being a man’s job.
