4th Annual Ankara Festival & African Fashion Show Los Angeles 2013 #EventsInLA

The 4th Annual Ankara Festival and Fashion show is designed to showcase upcoming and established designers, who specialize in designs that incorporate traditional African prints. The Ankara Festival will serve as a platform to bridge the gap between Africans and Americas through fashion and music.

Host for the event is FELA on Broadway actor, Duain Richmond and actress and comedienne Yvonne Orji. Designer featuring at this event is Korto Momolu (Liberia); Afrique  Expression  (Nigeria);  Dewan  Apparel  (Nigeria);  Nice  Trads  (Nigeria);  Nsaa  House  of  Designs  (Ghana); OYATO Designs (Nigeria); Solome Katongole (Uganda); Sumahrie Collections (Sierra Leone) and Tee Designs (Nigeria). There will be featured performances from Chibbz, Lola Savage, Naomi Wachira, Rahab, Stylzz and Titi Lo’Kei.
