Over the last few months, Logistics company DHL Africa sponsored an inspiring and ambitious road trip across the African continent in preparation for 2015 Rugby World Cup which took place in London this past September and October.
The aim of the trip was to ‘pass a single rugby ball from hand to hand through 45 countries, over 45 weeks, starting in Cape Town and ending in London’.
Over the duration of the trip stories, sights, sounds and locals were captured via film and photographs. In January and February, the made it to Zambia.
Zambia is a country deep in the heart of Southern Africa, enveloped by ‘Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Angola, it boasts three rivers; the Kafue, the Luangwa and the Zambezi which is home to one of the seven wonders of the world – The Victoria Falls.
