Support the ‘America Made Me Black’ Documentary #Crowdfunding

ammb‘America Made Me Black is a documentary that aims to highlight the relational tensions present within the black community in America.The film follows MaryBeth Omido, a first-generation Kenyan-American who has experienced these tensions in her own life and wrestles with where she belongs as a “third culture kid”.  Seeking to dive into the conversation of blackness in America, MaryBeth hears stories from black Americans, African immigrants, and Afro-latinos about how they have walked through these tensions and what it means to be black in America.’

The filmmakers of ‘America Made Me Black’, are seeking backers via crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to help fund the completion of the project.
