‘Artists On Africa‘ is a dynamic series of podcasts from SPARCK (Space for Pan-African Research, Creation and Knowledge). The series is produced in conjunction with the Swiss Art Council and delves into Africa’s conducive art scene through the eyes of some of Africa’s emerging creatives.
‘Artists On Africa’ has already featured artists from Mozambique, South africa and Madagascar is the brainchild of a two-woman, activist-artist-writer-scholar team: Kadiatou Diallo and Dominique Malaquais.
In Episode 9, ‘Artists On Africa’ reviews Is’Art Galerie , a contemporary art gallery based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The space was established in 2011 by Tahina Rakotoarivony and is a premiere infrastructure dedicated solely to the promotion of Malagasy contemporary art.
