Bino and Fino provides more ethnically diverse characters in children’s entertainment

B F smile togetherBino and Fino is an educational cartoon series that follows siblings Bino and Fino as they navigate around modern day Africa. With the help of their friend ‘Zeena the Magic Butterfly’ and their grandparents ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’, they ‘discover and learn new things about the world’.

Nigerian Animator and entrepreneur  Adamu Waziri created Bino and Fino to provide more ethnically diverse characters in children’s entertainment. Already a hit in the UK and South Africa, the shows target viewers are preschoolers from 3 to 6 years of age. Bino and Fino teaches anything from learning flags and maps of the African continent to counting up to 10 in Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo.

The shows creators have promised 26 new episodes for 2014, but in the meantime past episodes can be bought at binoandfino.com and various clips can be view at their official YouTube channel.
