‘To Catch a Dream’, A Fashion Collaboration between the Nest Collective X Chico Leco

To Catch a Dream‘To Catch a Dream’ is the latest collaborative fashion project from the NEST Collective and Chico Leco. the film features the work of eight local designers (Namnyak Odupoy, Ami Doshi, Kepha Maina, Jamil and Azra Walji, Katungulu Mwendwa, Ann McCreath and Adèle Dejak) and stars Kenyan fashion model Ajuma Nasenyana in the leading role.


Ajuma – a grieving widow – is desperate to stop her recurring nightmares. In an effort to end them once and for all, she explores a forgotten fairy-tale remedy which leads her to unexpected discoveries. The short was written and directed by Jim Chuchu and produced by Wangechi Ngugi with creative direction and styling by Sunny Dolat.
