COLOR INSPIRATION: Chefchaouen by Yaşar Canpolat #Morocco
Turkish photographer Yaşar Canpolat’s 4-part series explores four cities of Morocco that represent the warm and vibrant color tones that is often a source of inspiration for many creative projects. Canpolat’s photographs focus on the cities of Marrakech, Chefchaouen, Fes and Casablanca.
Below are Canpolats images of the city of Chefchaouen. Hidden in the Rif Mountains of Northwest Morocco, the small quaint town is often referred to as ‘The blue Pearl of Morocco’. Chefchaouen lives up to it’s nickname (as seen in the images) with buildings, walls and alleyways painted in various shades of blue.
