espn_general_0With FIFA 2014 less than 3 weeks away, Football (soccer) fever is well on the way.

ESPN has enlisted the creative services of Brazilian illustrator Cristiani Siqueira to create a series of promotional posters for the June 12th kick off. Each of the posters features the key player from each country as well as the team’s nickname.

Each piece tells a unique story of the heroes who will lead their countries on the pitch this summer along with an artistic representation of each of the 32 team nicknames. The artwork is a celebration of the unbridled passion that only the World Cup can evoke around the globe.

Below are the posters for the African teams (Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria). Click here to view the full collection.
