-The Ama K Abebrese Foundation
Popular Ghanaian-British TV personality Ama K. Abebrese is using her celebrity to bring attention to an ongoing issue that has plagued the mindsets of millions of women (and men) across Africa (and beyond) – the issue of Skin Bleaching. Abebrese enlisted the help of actress Nana Ama McBrown, model Hamamat Montia and singer Pauline Oduro to create a campaign that can currently be seen on billboards situated in several locations across Ghana.
Since the foundation launched last year, the Facebook fan page has already amassed over 10,000 fans.
