Michello Bello’s ‘Flower Girl’ to debut in the UK this October

wpid-flower-girlNigerian director Michelle Bello’s hit movie ‘Flower Girl’, will debut in cinemas across England this October.

Talking Drum Entertainment, a company that specialises in the development and distribution of black films and content, are responsible for the movie’s release and state that the movie ‘has gone through a complete re-edit with the help of top African filmmaker Mahmood Ali-Balogun (Tango with Me)’.

Flower Girl is a romantic comedy that tells the story of  Kemi, a young florist who attempts to push her boyfriend into marrying her by enlisting the help of Tunde Kulani, a famous Nollywood actor, but the plan doesn’t quite go to plan.

The movie which stars Chris Attoh, Damilola Adegbite and Chuks Chukwujeku received rave reviews in Nigeria and Ghana and is hoping to replicate the same success in the UK.
