‘Minority’ by Shishani and The Dub Colours #Namibia #AfroSoul

shishaniAward-winning recording artist Shishani is back with a new live version of her 2012 hit ‘Minority’, and joining her is new band The Dub Colours.

 

In an interview with GLAAD last year, Shishani explained that ‘Minority’ argues for equal rights for all people regardless of their cultural backgrounds, economic status, sexuality, religion.”  “There is so much systemic discrimination against people, for so many reasons.”

In 2013, ‘Minority’ was nominated for an award at the 2013 Namibian Annual Music Awards.

Greek band The Dub Colours were formed in December of 2012 and started collaborating on several recordings with the Namibian-born afrosoul singer.
