“Mr Mandela gave 67 years of his life fighting for the rights of humanity. All we are asking is that everyone gives 67 minutes of their time, whether it’s supporting your chosen charity or serving your local community.”
Tomorrow on July 18, we celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 95th birthday. 4 years ago the United Nations declared this an international Day to recognize Mandela’s “values and his dedication to the service of humanity” and to acknowledge his contribution “to the struggle for democracy internationally and the promotion of a culture of peace throughout the world”.
‘Mandela Day is a global call to action for people to recognize their individual power’ and is urging people to donate 67 minutes of there time to make an imprint.
What are you going to do to make your mark for 67 minutes tomorrow?
