myafrowMy Afro’Week is a French-based Tumblr blog that showcases Afro-cultured Inspired events in and around Paris.

Founded in 2011 by French bloggers Corinne and Joëlle, My Afro’Week (MAW) was set up as a central place to feature Parisien-based events centered around the ‘Afro culture’ theme. The blog features events in Literature, Art, Exhibitions, Music, Fashion Beauty, Business and Cinema.

Three years on and the My Afro’Week blog has now grown to a team of 6 women.

Although the MAW team have a huge presence on social media, they would like to take it to the next level by launching a website that will offer the following features:

• An easy to navigate website so that no events are missed

• A website where you will discover outings whether with family or among friends

• More interviews and encounters

• More topics, good addresses, good deals and contests

• Projects: more events organized by My Afro’Week

The MAW team have turned to crowdfunding platform indiegogo to garner support for the creation for the new website. Please visit indiegogo to learn more, and share the campaign by hash tagging #HappywithMAW.
