Photographer James Barnor will be showcasing his work ‘Ever Young’ at the Impressions Gallery in Bradford, England from July 5 to August 31, 2013.
The photos from the Ever Young collection had previously been shown in the UK at Rivington Park in London and the South African National Gallery in South Africa.
The photographs cover a remarkable period in history and span over 50 decades, featuring a range of street and studio photos that represent the transitions in societies (i.e. Ghana moving towards its independence and London’s transitions into being a multicultural city).
Ghanaian photographer Barnor, was able to capture key moments such as Kwame Nkrumah’s quest for Pan-African unity and Mohammed Ali as he trained for his Earls Court fight.
