A few weeks back, we shared Moonlook’s retro-inspired lookbook and one of the items that caught our eye was the Angelina print trench dress by Ajepomaa Design Gallery. Since then we have become avid followers of this exciting new brand from Ghana.
The new ‘Zoti’ lookbook is equally as pleasing to the eye, with beautiful dresses and separates made from contrasting African prints that Ajepomaa has patched seamlessly together.
Creative director, Ajepomaa Mensah began Ajepomaa Design Gallery in 2010 with a mission to bring a classic sophistication and playfulness to the wardrobes of fashion conscious women. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the label via a fashion design and merchandising degree from LaSalle College of Arts in Singapore, an internship with Jill Stuart NYC and some merchandising and production experience with Montemart and Serle in New York City.
All the pieces are modeled by the beautiful Maame Adjei who plays Zainab on ‘An African City‘
