Today, we are featuring the eerie digital portraiture of Egyptian visual artist and storyteller Lubna Abdel Azize.
Abdel Azize’s work is moody, mysterious and surreal, yet imaginative and surreal.
Most of Abdel Azize’s protagonists are muslim women depicted in a way that signifies liberation and freedom of expression.
Abdel Azize states ‘People might not agree with how I view what I do, but I would rather put out my vision and try to make you believe it than to conform to how someone else sees my work’.
